      Claudia Amaya

      Claudia Amaya and her husband moved to Canada from Colombia in 1997. She is a respected journalist with 20 years experience, the host of the Hispanic TV magazine program, Hola Que Tal, and Executive Producer of Hola TV. After earning her degree in Social Communication and Journalism, Ms. Amaya began her career as a writer at a top newspaper in Colombia. Five years later she was hired as editor-in-chief of the magazine, TV & Video Latinoamerica, where she kept current with the Industry’s trends and technologies by attending various international trade shows. For the achievements of Klanico Productions/Hola TV, a company created with her husband in 2001, Ms. Amaya has been nominated twice as a finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Self-Employment Program at Douglas College. She also maintains a high profile in the Hispanic community, where she is an advocate for its development and positive image. Claudia Amaya also served as a member of the advisory council of Channel M.


      Nicolas Amaya

      Nicolas Amaya, Operations Director, apart from being a talented musician, completed studies as a Sound and Recording Engineer in Maryland, USA and later on, after working in one of the biggest studios in the continent, worked as a sound designer (audio post-production) in Teleset S.A., the biggest television production company in Colombia. He also counts with studies in Digital Video Editing, computer graphic Animation, 3D and Web Site Development. Through many years of experience in the audio-visual field Nicolas has been able to achieve a high quality standard for all of Hola TV productions including TV Commercials, Music Video Clips, Documentaries and Short Films. Nicolas is currently a videographer for CBC News in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
